It’s free care, at home, paid by your auto insurance.
Michigan law requires every auto insurance policy to include something called PIP — Personal Injury Protection. PIP pays for medical care after an auto accident, including someone coming to your home to help you.
That help is called attendant care. It can include:
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help getting in and out of bed, in and out of a chair
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Transportation to medical appointments
- Companionship and supervision
You don’t pay for any of it. The insurance company pays us directly. There’s no copay, no deductible for attendant care, no surprise bill.
This is something you’ve already paid for, every month, with your auto insurance premium. Don’t leave it on the table.
Most people are eligible and don’t know it.
You may qualify for in-home attendant care if:
- You were in an auto accident in Michigan
- You have Michigan auto insurance (yours, a family member’s, or even the at-fault driver’s)
- Your injuries make daily activities difficult — bathing, walking, cooking, etc.
- You have any level of PIP coverage (most policies have at least $250,000)
Not sure? Call us. We’ll check for free, even if you don’t end up using us.
